On June 17 1983, photographer Richard Corman captured the then unknown Madonna, who would go on to become a household name only a few months later after the release of her eponymous first album Madonna. With a look of mischief in her eyes and signature 1980s style, the intimate Polaroids were taken in his brother Christopher’s New York apartment, but were not released until 33 years later. Compiled in a book of 66 Polaroids, MM6 takes you back to the moment a star was born, when Madonna was starting out in the music industry as an ambitious and oh-so photogenic 24 year-old.
